As a young girl raised in a diverse community, Briana was always curious to learn more. She sought out truth and adventure. This passion ultimately manifested into an unquenchable thirst for global awareness. By the age of 13, she knew exactly what she wanted to be; a journalist.

Briana pursued higher education at Florida Atlantic University where she received a scholarship from the McCormick Foundation and was given the opportunity to study abroad in Venice, Italy. 

Briana started her broadcast career as a writer for WSVN in South Florida. She continued her journey as a Multimedia Journalist at WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she covered a range of stories from, Hurricane Florence, officer-involved shooting, and the Hania Aguilar case. 

After two years, Briana joined the NBC2/ABC7 team as a bureau reporter in Fort Myers, FL. She was later promoted to the morning team (4a.m-12p.m) as a Traffic/Breaking news Anchor.
